why?
Laptops have immutable flaws compared to pc. The big two are the lack of upgradability and atrocious heat management.
There's also the fact that laptop keyboards tend to suck, and keep in mind I'm not a keyboard elitist by any stretch. The throw and responsiveness is just terrible even compared to, say, a Logitec K120, and that's only 20$. Probably less.
AND the cable from the board to the screen will wear out, even if you never close the screen, every laptop I've seen, the screen will wiggle with vibration. Eventually killing the cable.

I use a gaming laptop often when im away from home. They are pretty reliable these days and have closed the gap between desktop GPU's a good bit, some even have full cards. I do use a controller for most of my games though. They are still expensive upfront and not upgradeable but I get a good 5-7 years each time I replace one.

You can also get a PS5 if you were intending to anyway and wait for GPU's to stabilize. Both the PS5 and GPUs are in the same hard to come by boat.

Trying is the first step towards failure, so just dont give it a shot and you cant dissapoint.

PS5

They're getting easier to find nowadays if you're willing to sit around for a restock

I'm sorry? A what? And it looks like every terrible laptop, and laptop STYLE (because work is cheap) keyboard I've seen. Why are you so deadset on a laptop? Are you REALLY going to play Fortnight in more than one room of your house?
