My 8th grade social studies teacher cried twice during class cuz some of the kids straight up just wouldn't listen to her and kept being rowdy in the back. She didn't have a backbone at all.

Also she was hot too. When we were 13, me and my peers agreed that we'd totally fuck the shit out of her if we could >_>

Twice, same teacher.

The first time was when there was a riot and the swat team was called in and she broke protocol to let one of the students that was in our class in. He had gotten shot in the stomach with a beanbag gun by the cops and was already clearly turning purple and such.

The second time was when in the period before ours someone tried to set fire to the back of the classroom.

Wasn't the best high school.

Yeah. My high school English teacher was weeping in class when she couldn't control the students.

I went to an inner city high school and classes got pretty unruly. Our school had it's own police department in the main office.

7th grade science teacher was like the one in the OP, class just wouldn't shut the fuck up.

10th grade study hall teacher said something to a student about how he should be doing work and not napping on his free period, that she wouldn't be surprised if he was failing every class. He asked why she was such a bitch and if that was the reason her husband divorced her. She said "How did you know that." Before breaking down and walking out of the room.

Sadako and the Thousand Paper Cranes

Tbf that was a really sad book

When 9/11 happened my homeroom teacher at the time played back some of the last phone calls and voice-mails from the people on the planes and she bawled the whole time and so did a lot of the students

I don't think I've ever seen any of my main teachers break down before, but I've definitely seen a couple younger substitute teachers crack before in middle school. People in my class were particularly rough on substitutes. They were some real shitheads towards them.

Beyond that though, it became less "cool" to be such a massive dick that you make your teachers have a meltdown, so there wasn't really anything I remember in high school.

Two.

1. 7th grade English teacher. The class decided to all skip her class for April Fools, and she took it very personally. It made me feel terrible because she was a nice old lady. I decided not to follow the crowd on shit like this ever since.

2. 9th grade social studies teacher. He was a young guy, and the students didn't respect him at all

My 12th grade social studies teacher. SUPER nice guy, literally every day he would go out of his way to say "Hey! Has anyone today told you that they care about you? Because I do and I'm glad each and every one of you is here!" to each class. He has dismissed class without saying it a couple times and ran out the door and shouted it at us as we left lol.
His father was very abusive and he would tell stories about growing up pretty frequently and a couple times he teared up.

I heard another class did make a teacher cry. We had the same teacher but the sexual tension in the class made it so ours was attentive and eager.

Heard the other class bullied that teacher to not do assignments. Our dean got involved and laid out the responsibilities. He pretty much stayed in their class for the rest of the year.

9th grade first year spanish teacher. she had no control of the class, half the students in it didn't even want to be in school and spent the whole time fucking around. she couldn't remove anyone because of policies in place, so she would try in school suspension for the worst offenders. one day the language department head came into the class and read her the riot act in front of the students... she cried after that. ended up taking like a two week vacation and the department head had to take over, bitch had even less control over the class since even the rowdy jackasses agreed they liked the original teacher way more... the screaming was epic.

sadly the teacher resigned at the end of the year. she was a good teacher and actually taught well when she was allowed, hell she had actually lived in spain for about a decade so she'd pair the language course with history and pictures and made it interesting.

My 8th grade white lady teacher would cry every year during the emancipation proclamation reading.

She also had us recreate a slave ship by having his all lay in the classroom and ties our legs together with tape for a whole period.

Did you go to a school with a lot of high needs kids? Sometimes kids are ruthless.

I remember our Spanish teacher got put through the ringer and the kids were super bad. I felt awful for her.

One time she tried to be cool with us and tried sitting on her desk facing us (think like a teacher sitting in a chair backwards from a PSA) and she was wearing a skirt. She got up and crossed her legs but some smartass in the back was like ewwwwwwwaswwww no one wants to see your panties

Barring teachers crying from the deaths of students/fellow teachers or 9/11?

Never had a teacher cry in any of my classes. Generally speaking the classes I was in were well behaved. Had teachers get royally pissed at smart-ass students but no teacher ever broke down and cried.

I never took her class but the Spanish teacher (sensing a trend) was a pushover. People took her class because she was an easy grader for a required credit and the other option was the tough-as-hell French teacher. It was a daily thing for people to make her cry.

I've worked with countless teachers who have cried in some form or another. Middle school kids are the absolute worst.

Music teacher was constantly being disrespected by her guitar class. Went on a rant and started crying, then she threw down a piano.

8th grade English substitute, white as snow, like out of a 50's sitcom. Subbed for an extremely ghetto class. They insulted and disrespected him every day for a week and on the last day he broke and started crying while asking them why they were so mean to him. They laughed at him crying. He never came back.

Of course. My school had some savage teachers and laid the law down

I remember in math class, a regular joker dude picked up a picture of the teacher's wife, and said 'aye, teach I got bigger tits than your wife'

The teacher just stared at him and said 'You what now about my wife?'

'My tits are bigger than hers. She flat as f-'

At that point the teacher put him in a full nelson and put him to sleep. It was great

I think she was hungover

I used to get cluster headaches, they'd come up usually during the change of the seasons. When I was in college I had to excuse myself from class sometimes to go to the library because it was quiet and put my head down until the headaches passed.

She may have very well been hungover but I do have a lot of sympathy for people who get migraines/clusters and sounds like your teacher may have had them. There's nothing you can really do to prevent them and they can come up pretty suddenly and they pretty much do render you incapable of doing anything but curl up and wait for them to go away.

My classes broke a few substitute teachers. One was really young, like 20 or so, and the kids who had been held back a few grades were outright hitting on her, sitting at her desk and stuff. Looking back, it was absolutely bizarre.

1st: Someone dumped the entire bottle of fish food into the tank and killed all of the fishes. We all came back from gym and they were belly up and the teacher started weeping.

6th: Kids can get loud so one time the entire class wouldn't shut up even though the assistant blew her stupid whistle (it was actually a stupid looking flute) and she stormed out of the room. Our teacher came back and threw all of us into timeout because the assistant was crying outside. Pathetic. We all had to apologize to her.
