I don't know, something just seems to give them a nice, cleaner look when their skin is untarnished by any tattoos. This is especially true if they're skinny. I don't know why tattoos tend to ruin a woman's image for me. Like you can often see a woman with tattoos and think that she'd be much better off without any:



The flip side of that is when a woman clearly has no tattoos, and that's like the best possible look for a woman:

I dont like tattoos in general. And as far as women go, I find that they usually detract from the attractiveness. At best, it neither adds nor subtracts.

It's not really a gendered issue.

Plenty of women are not interested in heavily tattooed partners either, for various reasons. Most people, men and women, would prefer a partner who practiced moderation in the amount of tats and piercings they have, or none at all when the option is available.

It's just how it is.

I've never been into heavy coverage, but I used to not really care all that much about regular, sensible tattoos. These days though I'm just so over it. Every fucking body has tattoos, and when I see a woman without them it is indeed more attractive to me.

What year are you posting from?

Most people in 2021 don't care and at least half of people nowadays have at least one tattoo.

I personally think face tats and neck tats are ugly af but to say most people prefer no tattoos in this day and age is just projection.

What projection are you talking about? I never cared about any of my past partners having a single tattoo. It's typically not a dealbreaker for me as a gay man. Yet it's plain as day what many other people think when they're openly vocal about it, especially over social media. "Too many tattoos or piercings" is not an uncommon turn-off among modern men and women.

I pointed out that most people would prefer to avoid dating someone who did not "practice moderation" with the amount of tattoos or piercings they have (meaning NOT heavily tattooed or covered in piercings). Refer to my last post. And some people, both men and women, flat out find a single gaudy looking tattoo a dealbreaker even in current year. Shouldn't be hard to believe those folk exist in a notable capacity within an app-hungry modern society where people are casually passed over for less. The overall bullet-point of my last post post was that someone practicing moderation with the amount of tattoos or piercings they have will work in their favor on modern dating markets. They will typically have better luck than those who went full-hog on body mods.

Somehow you got confused and presumed I personally found a tattoo an immediate turn-off. That is not the case; certainly not for most gay men.
