Genuinely. It's a master class in open-world game design.

Also, if you're a fan of Fury Road it's a prequel to the movie and helps explain a lot of stuff very nicely.

Apparently it commercially and critically suffered from releasing so close to Metal Gear Solid 5, and as it's got a more limited scope compared to that game its quality was disputed at the time. But since then, people who've played it tend to have a positive outlook on the game. The last I heard, it's considered a quirky but enjoyable distillation of the Mad Max experience into video game form.

Saying that, though - I've never played it. So take that with a grain of salt. fwiw, based on what I've heard, I would consider at least giving it a go.
