Sorry if this is a dumb question. I mean if someone is asymptomatic, that means they carry the virus but don't suffer any consequences from it; isn't that essentially the same thing as a vaccination? Or does vaccinating have an effect on contagion as well?

No, because they can still spread it to other people. They should still definitely get vaccinated

I agree that you everyone should still get vaccinated, but you can still get and spread covid after getting vaccinated as well

So you can't spread it if you've been vaccinated?

Yes, I did. He said an asymptomatic carrier can spread it to other people, so they should be vaccinated. Which implies to me that vaccination prevents spreading it?

It does. Not in all people but in most.

Interesting, I wonder what biological or physiological processes are at play in that case. I suppose vaccination establishes a "firewall" of sorts that prevents the virus from even taking hold, whereas an asymptomatic carrier can be rife with the virus even if they don't suffer any consequences.

This is not a dumb question TC. Anyone willing to learn about vaccines is better than a straight up anti-vaxer.

Just ignore the rude leftist rhetoric hurr durr dont question vaccines, just take them. Nothing wrong with asking questions before taking it.
