I have tried a couple of different nespresso machines and they tend to produce pretty decent tasting coffee, tbh.

Have a vertuo. Its infinitely better than a Keurig, and definitely worth the extra cost for pods.
plus their pods are aluminum and youre not drinking heated plastic like with K cups. PS target now sells Starbucks brand Vertuo cups so you dont have to buy em online actually. i have a nespresso vertuo. i really like it, the coffee tastes very good and i like that i can do espresso from it as well by just purchasing different pods.
downside is that the pods are a little expensive. i think if you buy the packs from nespresso then it's a little more than $1 a cup. to keep costs down i have a drip machine for my morning coffee, to me the nespresso is an additional treat during the day/evening. also the pods are kind of a pain in the ass to recycle if you care about that, but i like that they are recyclable rather than being disposable only like with keurig cups. in short i'd recommend the nespresso vertuo to supplement whatever drip machine you already have --- ...
