So obviously the theoretical foundations and the laws themselves are cool, but then you get into ideal cyclic processes, and they're somewhat

Then you start considering ideal mixtures, and that's when things start to get interesting

And now we're doing real mixtures, and those are great. I remember in one of the final lectures where it just went click in my brain and I realized how all the stuff we'd done all fit together

But all in all, thermodynamics is probably what I imagine a "perfect" natural science to be. It's so elegant, somehow

I loved that course back when I was a meteorology major. Though my class was full of engineers so I feel like we both had different perspectives on how to apply the material, which was kind of interesting.

I sort of read thermodynamics as geothermal energy and thought you meant it gets hotter as you get literally deeper into the earth.
