Rise getting the same style of post-launch support as MHW is extremely cool.

What's not cool is since Nintendo paid for one year timed exclusivity, PC will not only be getting the game really late but also probably have a mega delayed update schedule just like what happened with vanilla MHW. :(

I kind of don't like the return of the old quest system, including the key quests and the small rooms. It can be so difficult to find anyone who wants to do quests that don't advance your rank in multiplayer. MHW's system had issues with how it handled story quests, but aside from that I thought it worked really well and this seems like a step back. Hopefully the SOS style system helps.

Towards the of the game's lifecycle the PC got updates at the same time as console though. Maybe Capcom will have things hitting the ground running when the PC version comes out.

What I'd be more concerned is there will be any cool Nintendo themed collaboration stuff that PC won't get. Not that I probably won't get both anyway...

On a barely related note I finally got my first Fatalis kill in MHW. That was definitely one of the most amped up experiences I've had in all my years of gaming - this series is pure magic.

Congrats! The Fatalis fight was so intense. I remember when it came out everyone in my hunting group was working hard to beat it and I managed to get the first solo clear out of everyone. It was such a great moment. Then I teamed up with my friends to try and help them get their first kill. It took hours but when we finally did it was such satisfying moment. Truly a great way to cap off World.
