I'm basically good until 2030. Maybe they'll actually send me them all by then. Sorting out space on my Kallax, just sold like five holes worth of board games so I should have some room for a bit until second waves and such start shipping.

I love board games. We own too many to count. What are some of your favorites?

I go in phases. These have all been top tier to me at some point in time (listing about chronologically when I was into them), even if I find some dull now or overplayed.

Munchkin (sold)
Dominion (sold)
Mage Knight (this game teaches you about life)
Netrunner (selling to someone I know)
Resistance (Among Us is better, probably selling)
Codenames (Still love this)
Seasons (Rarely play but it's my favorite drafting game)
Forbidden Island (the best Leacock game)
Blue Moon (with all the expansions, probably giving away idk)
Through the Ages (sold)
Dominant Species (Probably gonna sell because I haven't played in a couple years and it's too cutthroat for me to introduce a new player to for 1v1 games)
Spirit Island
Hive
Exploding Kittens (lost some of its luster but not selling, maybe I'll buy expansions idk)
Santorini

I play a lot of Cloudspire right now and Too Many Bones when I want to do co-op and Aeons End for solo. I have an Etherfields campaign going with my girlfriend, a Gloomhaven campaign going on with a coworker, and will start a solo Middara campaign in a month or two.

Something cool I got recently is Palm Island. I have a copy in my jacket pocket and another in my girlfriends purse (the game comes with two copies when you buy). Ive hosted large real-time games of Ultimate Werewolf at work when I was at my old place, I want to at my current work but theyre probably too strictly and Im scared to ask.

Oh, if you like sleeves really look into KMC perfect fits. They're the only sleeves I like even if they're not technically supposed to be used as an outer sleeve.

Yours?

Yours?

I like the Betrayal at the House on the Hill and the Baldurs Gate variant a lot. Also been playing The Binding of Isaac card board game which is pretty fun.

Im always a sucker for party games like Cards Against Humanity and Balderdash too.

Board game admirer here. My wife adores Pandemic and we also enjoy Catan. What board games would you recommend looking into for casuals like us? This weekend I was looking into Ticket to Ride, Barenpark, Through the Desert, My City, and Carcassonne. She hates games that feel unintuitive or difficult to learn, and ideally it would be something that works well with two people.

I have no idea whether or not he's a racist, but apparently there are recordings of him using racial slurs so it's a distinct possibility.

Some of my favorites are

Betrayal at the house on the hill
Pandemic
Ticket to Ride
Munchkin
7 wonders
Life
Clue
Boss monster

I'm sure there's more in forgetting. I spent years playing board games with my cousins and some other friends, still do occasionally but not as much now

Ticket to ride would be a great one, not sure about the others so I won't comment on them, its straight to the point and pretty fun and can be done with 2 people

I'd just get a cheap sampler of some different genres and see what you like and go from there. These should be pretty cheap besides Pandemic Legacy.

Pandemic Legacy (Pandemic but story and legacy, you damage the game as you play, a bit expensive)
Forbidden Island (It's pandemic but it's not pandemic)
Patchwork (tile-laying with some economy building)
Splendor (good intro to euros)
King of Tokyo (battle yahtzee, good for more people but fun at two but I don't think officially supported)
Stone Age or Everdell (worker placement, higher priced, can't think of a great lower priced game in this genre)
Star Realms (battle deckbuilding, but it's cheap)
Takenoko (it's just cute)
Santorini (abstract strategy with less abstraction)
Fairy Tale (drafting, or maybe seasons if you can find a cheap copy...sushi go is really cheap but i don't like it)
Spirit of the Wild (it's cheap and at target)

If you like Settlers of Catan, you might try Starfarers of Catan. Same concept, but in space.
