They still damage your clothes / things you're holding / etc, they just don't hurt you. You are only immune to the bullets themself. If a bullet hits something else, and the movement of that object harms you, you are not immune to that. Oversized bullets are still bullets. Your power persists even when the bullets are not in motion, so you cannot pick up bullets directly (but you could use another object to pick them up).
