A guy won an auction last night, and apparently put in a claim and got my account suspended because the items hadn't been shipped yet.

It hasn't even been 24 hours since the auction ended.

Man.

Guess you shoulda sent him an email

Checking my email, it took 30 minutes for ebay to ban my account before I even had a chance to

That doesn't sound right, you have nearly a week to ship after auction.

This. I've bought and sold hundreds of items on Ebay. Buyers can't even open a claim that soon after the end of an auction.

I sold and shipped a phone on Amazon that was worth $500+ a few years ago. The person said it was defective, it was brand new. They wanted to return it and I didnt reply until the next day, they opened an A-Z claim, and I only responded about the return not the claim...for whatever reason I just didnt see the claim notice. I told them they could ship it back if it wasnt used, well they acknowledged it was but Amazon closed the claim in their favor even though it was less than 24hrs from their delivery and contacting me.

Lost over $500 on that shit. Amazons terms and conditions say that you cant file an A-Z claim until after 24hrs of no response from a seller. I contacted support and they basically said too bad. They refunded the fucker and allowed them to keep the item.

I should have gotten an attorney since Im pretty sure you cant just decide to charge me back and not get my item back. I even paid and sent them a label but Amazon said they only had to send it back if they wanted...like who would choose to if given the option not to! I deleted all credit info so they couldnt charge me back but they blocked me from selling again on that account which was over 10 years old.

That's what happened. He filled out a claim saying there was no tracking info for his items that hadn't been shipped yet, ebay granted it and beat my account within 20 minutes. :/

it's some BS for an honest seller. patience is needed for shit to be sent out due to the pandemic i would expect no later than a full 24 hour day at best after order time to complain :( unless stated it takes up to 2 days (during the weekday).

Ebay is terrible for sellers

I sell online for a living and I avoid selling there like the plague. Even amazon is better for sellers and that's really scraping the barrel
