I only played the first two Mass Effect games. I didn't play the third one, because I wanted to play it on PC, and this is around the time those stupid bastards at EA made the switch to move everything to Origin exclusivity. Then there was the ending controversy, and I had no further interest in the series. I thought about getting the remaster collection, but I'm not paying 80 fucking dollars for games that were released 8 10 12 years ago.

Man, I remember back when Bioware was so good that even their mediocre games were considered good. When the worst games in your catalog were Jade Empire and KotOR 2, you were a damn good development studio.

but KOTOR 2 wasn't made by BioWare.

That was Obsidian, and it wasn't Obsidian that fucked it up it was Lucasarts rushing it for the 2004 Holiday Season

Still makes me mad Lucas Arts wouldn't allow Obsidian to release patches to fix it up after it released.

Played the first one through over 20 times. Bought all of ME3's DLC. Only played one of them. Tried to play through the series recently. Think I've, "grown", out of them.

A fantastic series, for sure. Couldn't get half way through Andromeda, terrible story. Gonna skip the remasters. But I'm glad there getting attention again. A unique trilogy without any doubt.

Andromeda was way too padded for its own good. Would've been way more tolerable if they stuck with the original formula. Not everything needs to be fucking open world.

I replayed Andromeda last year around january. It was still riddled to the roof with bugs and glitches, they just fixed the most egregious ones so I couldn't brick my savefile or crash every half an hour. I still had like 3 or 4 crashes throughout the playthrough and several times a weird glitch where losing a fight would result in completing it and progressing the story happened.

And just like the first time, in the scene where Liam and Jaal get naked, there was two Jaals.

I've had this glitch in AC Valhalla that's like that actually, the character's face gets frozen and the lips don't move while they're talking, it's a little strange.

Lost my save from 1 that was like 20 hours in and never finished. Will the legendary edition do any changes to the Mako parts? That was what kept me from finishing and moving forward with the trilogy.

IIRC they said that they're improving controls to the Mako among some other changes to ME1 gameplay.

I never minded the Mako parts, and I couldn't play the game with my own music in the background, so I was stuck with HOWLING WIND AND BARELY AUDIBLE AMBIENCE <_____<

I've also beaten ME1 like a dozen times through and like 8 of those were with enough completion percentage to get the achivement/trophy for doing 75+% of the game with one squad member >_>

Thats good to hear. I mostly stopped because of lost progress but the Mako portions are what killed my re attempt at a playthrough.
