Its a Martin X Series

yeah, right now I have a condenser on voice/harmonica and a dynamic on guitar. The condenser picks up too much guitar so I gotta figure that out cause I really prefer to do it all live at once

Has a real shimmery sound

but I feel you >_> I know it's kinda obvious but stacking multiple copies of tracks can really beef up a sound, especially after you compress it and all that - guess you could just stack the voice too but you'd get the residual in the background.. some people can really cut a guitar out of a live track like that but that eludes me for now <_<

Youtube is literally the shit for the 411 on mixing and recording though, like it's incredible how some peoples thought process involving recording and mixing becomes.. really lots of fun stuff to mess around in a DAW
