Israel is in the situation it is in because back after the Holocaust, the Jews wanted to retreat to their ancestral homeland. Instead of being accepting, other nations tried to go to war with them. That is how they won the rights to the territory - in combat twice, after just retreating there to escape the Holocaust.

And that is why the USA is an ally - they are surrounded by nations that would not hesitate to wipe them out because of ethno-nationalist and religious disagreements.

The opposition had multiple chances to work peaceably towards a resolution together but back when Israel first became a thing again they chose war instead. So that has complicated relationships between the two groups for decades.

To uphold just one side of the debate, especially when your other topic venerated Lenin, just shows that you should be nuked by the mods here lol.
