So this is the purpose of this poll. I have noticed as GameFaqs has been dying, and the more extroverted users have been migrating towards reddit, that as a whole these boards have become somewhat stale, and vaguely humoreless. With many users simply taking themselves too damn seriously. Lost_All_Senses 03/04/21 3:32:27 AM #2:	My charisma in a one on one setting is what I see as my greatest asset. Not in all situations, but enough. Sober while in a larger group, not so much. As soon as I have the attention of too many people I just want to shoft the attention off me as quickly as possible. Hell, if I'm in a group, I will instigate stories for others to tell. Ill bring up a moment me and someone there and then have them tell the rest of the story to the group. A lot of the time I literally just bring it up and say "Im not good at telling stories tho, you tell them". Only down side is, you can't correct them or really jump in if they leave out parts you like because then it's like "do you wanna tell it yourself or not?". Idk, I know this is going to sound silly but anytime I ever thought highly of myself, there's always something afterwards that basically puts me into place and I'll always have a shitty feeling of "why did I think that about myself?" that seems hard for me to get rid of. Instead of talk a big gane just to disappoint. The former is only necessary if you have a job where you need to stick out. If that's the case, you got plenty of examples where talking yourself up but never delivering still got the person super far lol. I can't do it. Feels so disingenuous to big myself up. You might just be waiting for that thing to humble you when you talk yourself up tho. If you absolutely cannot engage with somebody, or you are prone to judge them as beneath you due to their grammar...you probably have poor charisma. Just don't be "that guy" who gets all judgemental over people saying "your" instead of "you're" - you may think that being critical of such a thing is a positive personality trait, but it really isn't.
