No. If racism is classified as a mental illness, then you're just giving racist people a excuse for their behavior as well as giving them the chance to throw it back in your face for making fun of their disability. Do you really want to be the one who's treated like a bigot for calling out a racist?

No, its a learned behavior Kinda, but there's no behavior that is purely learned, at least not at this level. It is a mental illness, but we don't got time to help racists while way less toxic people also need help. Racist don't want to be helped. Hell, Id probably put pedophiles on the list of who to help before them. Because at least a lot of pedophiles understand they're fucked up. You can't help someone who won't admit there's a problem. We just had a 4 year example of that running the country.
