Honestly what irks me is that they somehow think that 3 mages is fine for one dungeon, but the earth/ shield one has you fight two only after the floating golem with two hilichurl archers.

Every time I ran it this past week, the thing opened up with that sideways turn into a charge, so I couldn't bullseye it and nuke it instantly. :(

I never knew about shooting the eye until my brother told me. I always waited for the thing to come back down. At least it isn't as annoying as vishaps.

I only have two standard 5 stars. Jean and Keqing. Everyone else is a banner character. With the monthly 5 standard rolls, I hit keqing C1. So last couple of days had me hit the only two dupe 5 stars i could hit.

Hu Tao is great. I only have her at 70 with talents at 6 and she overall outdamages my Klee

At least since 1.2, geovishaps won't run away far enough away to reset their encounter. Originally a few of them did unless you freeze spammed them before they could go underground.

so i'm mixing things up going with a ganyu/mona/zhongli/qiqi team, plays so differently than what i'm used to but I kinda like it. Mona is currently only lvl 80 with no talents upgraded and level zero artifacts so she's currently in OH SHIT OH SHIT DUMP THE SKILLS AND HOPE I DON'T GET ONESHOT mode

EDIT: I do miss the utility of venti to group enemies/make traversal easier though..and ice enemies are a pain to deal with

Venti, Mona, Qiqi, Ganyu
But I'm missing three of them and I just know the game won't be kind with Mona & Qiqi unlocking

Yeah it took me ages to get mona, and because I didn't have a team to build around her at the time, and I was focued on getting other characters to max first for my main team, she just kinda sat unused until the tower defense event. I'm not quite sure how useful she is vs other characters since ganyu seems to freeze enemies ok on her own, so i'll get her artifacts leveled once I get amos bow maxxed out and see how I she sits with me.

Glad is useless on her because her base attack is extremely low. Either do 4 piece lavawalker or 4 piece witch for melt

You could always keep her benched until you get passable do-fer pieces for the full set. :l Or am I the only one who can be patient with rng on them? >.>

She's pretty flexible with artifacts and team comp. 2pc CW + 2 WT is good, 4pc Bolide, even 4pc heart of depth or 4pc thundering fury are viable.

it's possible, but i've been running all over and havn't spotted one yet, been to all the "hard to get"/hidden ones to double check I grabbed them, guessing i'll have to just pull up one of the online maps and check each chest off one, unfortunately

Have you run to the very north part of the map by the cliffs? I know there was a chest on the cliffside there.

Also, percentages aren't always wild chests. My literal last % for that area was completed because I saw some ameno slimes (in the same area, north east peninsula area) flying above trees. I shot them down, last chest appeared, and got the 100%.

Shit i realized Hu Tao has flowers. Every time a new character would release like Zhongli I'd be like "You know a full Archon team would be pretty dope." Then when Childe came out. "A full Harbinger team would be nice."

Then i joked around the Ganyu banner and was like "I need her for my flower team. Klee, Albedo, Ganyu, then ill get whatever flower character comes out.

I guess i'll be running Klee, Ganyu, Albedo, Hu Tao. Which means Ganyu shifts to support.

Did they stealth buff the drop rate for artifacts from those giant armored hilichurls? All 3 I killed earlier dropped one or two 3* artifacts. Not much but the exp fodder at least made it worth the extra 15 seconds of my time to kill each one.

Managed to hit a 150k vape crit on hu tao on cryo regisnive with food of course. Didn't use 4pc CW unfortunately but it was the highest crit I've ever hit. Team was Albedo/Zhongli/Xingqiu and Hu Tao of course. Can hit harder with Melt but it was just a fun test.

Mona can hit some pretty nasty vape crits. There's a video out there of one shotting Dvalin by using Amber to pop the bubble lol

Man, farming those Archaic Petras and everytime I get Bolide, it's decent to pretty good.... or even amazing. The petras always, always suck outside of that cup.

Both have just seen 5* pulls (Hu Tao from current character banner, WGS from the Amos Bow banner when Ganyu was featured), so there's little hope for getting the weapon or a Hu Tao dupe. More leaning toward character banner for Xingqiu dupes.

Weapon banner is mega whale bait so be prepared to accept failure. Somewhere there's a guy who pulled like 19 skyward Pride when he was trying to get Amos Bow for Ganyu.

Quite dissuading from pulling on the weapon banner. For now, I'll probably continue on the character banner and make do with Hu Tao's White Tassel or stumble upon a better 4*.

Yeah, Tartaglia is a huge surprise. And I imagine if it's still 2 week banners, third one has a high chance to be Jean?

To be honest I'm irked by this banner choice. Tartaglia is the only one of 2 males I wouldn't hate to roll, so with a banner like Fischl, Xiangling, Diona, I'd successfully be baited to roll a few times. But if it's immediately after Venti (must-have right now to me), and if Venti gets Sucrose, Barbara, Fischl/Diona, I'll be spending a lot of primogems on that instead.

Also, do we know what that brandnew 5* bow is? If not gacha and if optimal for Venti, I'll really need it, because I have no bows for Venti. I wouldn't put it past Mihoyo to give us a free 5* weapon if this is still part of the Lunar New Year celebration.

Our Hu Tao are almost twins. I eventually want to swap to a crit damage head piece, but I'll need to average almost 10% crit rate on all my pieces, goals I guess.

My hourglass is crap. It is HP main, but it has energy recharge, DEF, elemental mastery, and flat attack. I just want an HP with crit rate up.

They were my go to for getting Liyue specialties out of the way quick. Go to Wangshu inn if you've already exhausted liyue harbor. Also i think the herbalist sells them

I learned quickly to run a quick route after doing my dailies for most of the flowers/resources a few times a week. This was after I had neglected to do this beforehand with both Diluc and Qiqi and had grind them all out in one go, it was a PITA and I was like "no more of this bull ish"
