Takes place in the Sinnoh region during the beginning of its colonization. Has major BOTW vibes. The player character is tasked with building up the first Pokedex/bestiary and you're catching Pokemon and battling them, similar to other games. All gameplay shown was from the single player story.

A rule of thumb I've always held as true is that games are rarely better than their trailers. And that trailer was really bad.

They will probably delay it. usually they don't delay their games because they have to hit the holiday window, but Legends is targeted for early 2022. They can just push it back to holiday 2022 and add polish

The concept is what I've been wanting from pokemon for years. I wish they'd slap it on better hardware, though.

Meanwhile, the actual DPPt remake looks worse than the FF7 compilation phone game remakes.

I dunno how the switch to 3D and HD hurt Pokemon so bad, but c'mon.

Yeah. Theres no way they release D/P remakes this November and then Legends two months later. They will both be November games, just different years.

It has potential, but well we all know GF is flat out ass at optimization. Glad the DP remakes are being done by another company, at least that means it'll not run as terribly as the original ones
