Obviously at first the parents (who become grandparents at some point) will have to raise the kids normally, but once they become adults they go through college, get jobs, get married, etc. and add to the family's net worth.

Then they have their own kids and the cycle continues. All the while the family's net worth continues to grow and they can afford to move into bigger and bigger houses as the family grows and their net worth gets larger. They could also have opportunities to become even wealthier (such as investing in real estate) that they wouldn't have had as individuals. Eventually they will become a super family.

If the house was big enough, Id love to live with my immediate family. They fight with each other tho. 2 of my sisters aren't speaking to each other atm. They'd never involve me without my consent and I haven't given it yet >_>. They talk to me about it but always talk around the actual issue. I just listen and make jokes cause I don't really know how to approach it. That alone makes me question all living together even with your own parts of a house. Id definitely need enough space between us I could bang my music at any time with disturbing others. I can't give that up now that I have it.

I love my parents, but I couldn't imagine living with my SO and my parents. Having privacy is such a great feeling. I remember my (now ex) girlfriend and I would sometimes just spend the whole day at home naked, just because we could. And even if we weren't naked, we usually only put on our underwear if we didn't have to go anywhere. We definitely couldn't have done that while living with family.

Geez. I'm always blown away by the low prices of other states. Some guys I worked with planned to retire to cheaper states, so their money would go further.

it's pretty common, relatively speaking -- Arkansas's population is getting older over time because more people move in to retire than grow up and stay here.

fwiw, Im actually kind of surprised at how high these home prices are in monticello lol
