Nope. You know I used to think the same thing for years. I figured that most of the wealthy people turned to the Republican Party for tax cuts so that they could benefit themselves financially.

The past decade or so has taught me that if there's one thing the Republicans and the Democrats are always willing to work together on it is to protect the wealthy elite and to stop any sort of disturbance from the common people into the upper class as we have seen most obviously lately with the gme squeeze.

After all is there any reason why someone like Vince McMahon can't just lobby the left for tax cuts?

No the truth is that they are the party that they are because they hate people. Poor people aren't in the Trump supporting rallies because they think that one day they'll be wealthy or that Trump's economic policies will make them wealthier they're in his rallies because it's made them easier to hate people and enact their hateful agendas and make progress with it like has never been seen before. And it is the same with the rich people as well.

They are a party of hatred, xenophobia, and authoritarian conformance.
