Well?



It just hit me, I havent used a game guide on this website in over a decade. I used it heavily with my GBA games. Then I just stopped. If I had a question I would either Google it or just search/make a topic on the message board. Visual guides on YouTube started to become the standard as well.

Its the best place if youre looking for in depth info on something, otherwise I just use IGN guides

IGN guides are generally better.

I'll go wirh a YouTube guide occaisonally as well.

Yeah. I find text guides much easier than video guides that are more commonplace elsewhere.

depends on the game. if its an rpg its so much easier to ctrl+f something than try to fuck with a video guide, but video guides are way better to learn strats in action or fighting games

Theyre still fine if Im really in a jam, but I would typically look for video guides or a message board these days before reading the actual FAQs.
