I honestly don't get the people who says the online is garbage/empty tbh.

I played it when it when the online first came out. I'm sure it's better now but the economy, slow gameplay, and lack of shit to do during those early days really put me off.

This. I think I spent most of the time fishing for money before they nerfed salmon or something.

The online relies way too much on the public lobbies, which is an issue GTA 5 also now has. GTA5 at least has dozens of coop missions you can hop into and do constantly, but RDR2 does not have anything like that. It is very very light on the coop ONLY stuff that doesn't rely on being in a public lobby.

I played back when it launched

Had fun shooting at a guy fishing at some random pond in the middle of the woods. I was perched on a small plateau far away from him and just kept shooting near his feet to freak him out.

eventually he killed me and I logged off and never went back lol

Heard Paul F. Tompkins talking about the multiplayer the other day, and it actually sounded interesting.

Its pretty fun now, Ive got like 19 days worth of time in it. Have bought nearly everything and have a good stockpile of money and gold. I dont play nearly as much anymore however.
