His adamant denial that anything thats happened to a black person (or Hispanic in the case of the airplane topic) has anything to do with racism is in itself, racist. I get what youre saying and I see over and over the posts where Im like But 99% of when he argues things like this, he is completely in the right.. if we lived in a perfect world. Like hes right, you should never say anything even slightly aggressive to a cop because theyre there to help you and you trust them completely because theyd never do anything wrong no matter what color you are unless you gave them a reason to.

Ive literally never seen any of this. All Ive seen is him dismissing black peoples concerns. Ive never seen him once stick up for black people in situations were there was injustice against black people in America or elsewhere, or show any support.

When it comes to being homophobic/sexist weve all seen him constantly logging onto his alt account to harass ironborncorps for being trans, although admittedly he has massively toned down on that from what I can see.

Misguided maybe, but if this dude systematically dismisses each and every single lived experience that somebody has had, by telling them theyre paranoid, up themselves, or just plain wrong then youre just denying that there is even a semblance of a problem, which is a classic tactic to maintain deniability and avoid accusation of racism. I take these things on a cases by cases bases much like any other discussion. If I see what I think is a logical conclusion I often suggest it. Doesn't matter if anyone agrees or not and I'm certainly not going to bother understanding folk who automatically scream "you're racist!" constantly as that gets old quick and doesn't add anything to the discussion. In many stories I've seen actual racism and said as much. I guess some folk choose to see what they want.
