I'll never forget getting woken up at 2:30 am by a drunk friend asking me to drive him to Whataburger lol <_<

I was stationed in El Paso for 3 years, so I technically lived in Texas for 3 years but El Paso is quite different from the general expectations of Texas.

I visited relatives in Houston it was very hot there and every pickup truck has a gun rack with riftand shotguns, thaiwaa years ago, I dont know if people still carry guns like that or if its still allowed

Visited El Paso, Austin, Amarillo, Houston. Business, multiple times. Not a fan.

I've lived in Houston, San Antonio, and Austin (one of the best cities in the US)

Visited a few times when my brother was stationed at Fort Hood.

It was weird because I was in high school and I had hair down to my shoulders and no fucking exaggeration everyone thought I was a girl. Did enjoy some of the sights though, wouldn't mind visiting again.

I remember at the airport after landing I was going to the restroom and this guy starts shouting, "Miss, miss, the woman's restroom is over ... oh"

And then my brother was getting deployed to Iraq and getting a haircut so I decided to get my haircut all high 'n' tighted and this lady at the shop starts telling my mom how sweet it is that her daughter's getting her head shaved to support her brother -_-

For...2-3 years? San Antonio and then Houston. Went to Royal Ridge Elementary and then Youens in Houston.

I have a group of buddies that take a trip every summer (except 2020 and probably 2021, for obvious reasons) on our quest to see a game at every MLB stadium. Went to Texas in 2015 and had a bit of a tour of the state over 4 days:

Dallas/Arlington = Saw the JFK stuff and a Rangers game
Austin = Pretty much went bar hopping and got wasted
San Antonio = Recovery day; Alamo, Riverwalk, took it easy
Houston = Astros game

Lived there for a long time. Been to all the major cities.

Houston, DFW are generally fine. Austin, San Antonio are nice. West Texas is shit.
