Some of my family eats spam cold/"raw" all the time. Back when I ate it I always had to heat it, though I usually just went with the microwave. It still crisped a little bit.

my preferred method of cooking Spam is to use a mandoline to slice it super thin then fry the slices into extra crispy "chips". That said, I was frying up some Spam the other day and had to urge to try a little bit cold. Not nearly as bad as I thought it would be. Honestly I would much rather eat cold Spam than hot Spam sliced thick or cubed.
