The Fiend is the really the only character right now I can think of that has "supernatural" abilities.

Back in the late 90's and early 2000's though you had multiple characters like the Undertaker who would die and then be back on TV next week like nothing happened lol

Depends on how it's booked. Sometimes there's literal superpowers like Taker and Bray Wyatt, sometimes people just sell the moves more dramatically to make them look insanely strong.

The Fiend, Undertaker, Kane.

After that it becomes less supernatural.

Hulk Hogan and Ultimate Warrior had the power to turn invulnerable and get a sudden rush of super-strength. The process was referred to as Hulking Up when Hogan did it. Warrior was never given a name for it.

Undertaker can teleport and has superhuman recuperative abilities. (One one point, he explicitly drew his powers from an urn.) Undertaker's storyline brother Kane also has superhuman recuperative abilities, can shoot lightning, and can cause fire to rise up from the turnbuckle posts.

And Papa Shango, a voodoo priest, had the ability to make people cough up green vomit.

John Cena has the power to never give up.
It's why he's undefeated in I Quit Matches

Yeah he's had both knees and his hip replaced so he's basically a robot lol

Seriously though, he's a fascinating human being. I've seen interviews where he talks about all the injuries he's had over his career and he pretty much sums it up by saying "Yeah everything hurts, but my tolerance for pain is higher than a normal person"

Gangrel was a vampire. The Hurricane was a super hero. The boogeyman had some sort of powers, maybe just infinite worms he can store in his belly? dunno. Warrior in WCW was able to teleport. Taker, along with being an undead, is also able to teleport. I think early on in his run Glacier was supposed to be the Mortal Kombat character with all his powers. Kevin Sullivan as the Taskmaster over in WCW was supernatural somehow as well IIRC, been years though and can't really remember what he did. I don't know if it was ever stated, but as a 13/14 year old, Mankind felt supernatural. Like he was indestructible but not strong.

There are also things called power modifiers within the WWE Universe.

For example a person can be sidelined from crashing down two stories thru a table. However put the same person in a Last Man Standing match (a modifier), the same person can jump right back up within seconds.

Example 2, the 24/7 Championship is known to dramatically decrease a person's defense stats. The odds of rolling a fresh person up for a pinfall are very high. Last RAW, someone lost the 24/7 Championship by bumping heads with an inanimate object.

I recall The Giant (Big Show) falling off a parking garage during a scrape with Hogan.

Hogan thought he had killed the guy but he was revealed to have survived.

He tapped out to Chris Benoit. But since Benoit never existed, that means Cena never lost a match by submission.
