But in this late stage, there's a decent chance that a round will just completely grind to a halt because everyone's saved the characters they care about and they don't want to save anyone else because it'll risk their own picks. If Ike, Tatsumaki, and Yuna weren't safe already and I couldn't trade to get more saves for them, then I sure as hell wouldn't be saving anyone else. In the future, I'd like to see how a contest that specifically forbids in-topic vote trading would actually go. Maybe the next contest (whatever it is) can be a test run for that. If a round is so slow that it doesn't end in a certain amount of time (6 hours after the first post, maybe?) then the character with the fewest saves at that time is eliminated. Like 10 left for the earlier rounds, and 5 left for the later.
