i remember when i was a teenager, i loved eggs. over easy was my jam. i loved that runny yolk.

then one day, the idea of eggs and a runny yolk disgusted me. i hated eggs. if i ate eggs, it was scrambled with cheese. thats the only way i could eat them.

but randomly, in 2021, i ate an over easy egg and i was like "oh i need more of this" and now i can't get enough of them. im eating over easy eggs with runny yolk every day. im going through eggs like nobody's business. i love it!

WHATS HAPPENING??????

Your taste buds change as you age. All the cells are replaced with other cells over time. Things literally taste different to you at different decades of your life.

Yeah, your tastebuds change as you age. I hated hummus when I was younger, now I can't get enough of it. I've only recently grown to tolerate Cilantro(albeit it needs to be mixed with sour cream and lime). Still can't stand most shellfish outside of crustaceans. Mussels, Oysters, Scallops all sicken me. Same with pink fish like Salmon. But white fish I can eat with no issues.

Literally everything. I'm a completely different person now at 35 than I was when I was 27. If you really want to try something magical, try putting that over easy egg with ramen or rice. Let the yolk coat the rice/ramen. Bit of salt and pepper.

Or, do a light scramble and mix it in with rice/ramen. It will blow your mind. Another personal favorite of mine is breakfast sandwiches. 2 slices of Toast, butter, cheeze whiz, over easy egg, bacon(or ham, or bologna). I like Ketchup or hot sauce with mine, but to each their own.

A personal theory of mine is that sometimes you get a bad batch of something (an egg in this case) but don't notice it... but your body does.

Now your body reacts subconsciously/chemically to it by being repulsed.

Your tastes change over the years.

You can also develop allergies. I used to be able to eat eggs but no longer can eat those cooked on a stovetop. Baked is ok, there is a protein that changes once you cook it over 350 degrees.

Try this. Eggs over medium to get your whites nice and crispy, and the yolk slightly solid but still runny. Season them with salt, pepper, oregano and cilantro. Add them to your toast with lime juice flavored mayo (instead of butter) and avocado. So good.

Theyre a really cheap and vital foodstuff for the kitchen. Eggs are important for half of the things that go into an oven

I've eaten eggs every day for the last 7 months since starting chemo.

I make 2 bagel, egg & cheese sandwiches every morning for the protein.

I mix up the bagels every week.
One week it might be Cinnamon Rasin & Everything (all the seeds on it) bagels. The next week I might do Onion & Blueberry bagels.

I make 2 bagels each morning.
Each bagel gets 3 scrambled eggs (litte salt & pepper added during the scrambling) each and a slice of cheese.

Bagel - 2 - 9 protein each.
Eggs - 6 - 6 protein each.
Cheese - 2 - 3 protein each.
