My current theories:

One Piece is the ancient weapon Uranus. It's the only weapon we know nothing of, so a part of me thinks it's because it's the One Piece.

Also, the One Piece has something to do with traveling to the moon. There used to be a civilization on the moon made of the ancestors of the Bilkans, Skypieans and Shandians; and each of these civilizations set off to earth, with the Shandians founding the ancient gold city of Shandora. The Shandorans defended their city in a massive war during the void century, and they fell, with only a small tribe surviving (modern shandians). The promise of Shandora was fullfiled when Gold Roger visited the bell of shandora in Skypiea (Robin confirms this to the shandian elder).

So the ancient moon civilization is connected to the void century, its descendants were enemies of the world government, and left a message/a promise that was fullfilled when the message got to Roger, which hints at a Joy Boy connection too. This is why I think One Piece has something to do with the moon.

What is shanks' combat abilities? We know he doesn't have a devil fruit, and that he has haki. But what is he like in a fight? This is the guy who apparently stopped Kaido without getting a scratch and the guy who stopped Akainu with a normal sword. Dude ain't right.

Shanks was Mihawks' sparring partner at some point, too, so you know he was up to snuff. Dunno if he still is since he lost an arm, though.

Devil fruits are worthless now that everyone knows haki. And then Oda introduced that new stronger form of Haki for Luffy to learn. Were going to keep on getting haki power ups going forward. Plus Luffy still hasnt awakened his devil fruit, so I guess were going to be seeing more people do that as well in the future. There is power creep
