11 Members of Illinois Republican Adam Kinzinger released a scathing HANDWRITTEN multi page, single spaced diatribe by 11 of his relatives who called him a "disappointment to God" and a STAIN on their family's name for backing the impeachment of Donald Trump and has now DISOWNED HIM!!

He told the NYT that he received disparaging letters just 2 days after he called for Trump to be removed from office following the insurrection

11 members of his extended family accused him of being cahoots with the "devil's army (Democrats and the fake news media) for publicly opposing Trump and requesting the 25th Amendment

It says "Oh my, what a disappointment you are to me and to God! We were once so proud of your accomplishments! Instead, you go against your Christian principles and join the devil's army. How do you call yourself a Christian when you join the 'devil's army' believing in abortion! We thought you were smart enough to see how the left is brainwashing so many. You are now part of the liberal pedophile ring and you are falling for socialism ideals. It is not for us to judge or be judged! But Trump is a Christian! If God can forgive and use King David in the Bible, he can do the same with President Trump. When was the last itme you proclaimed your faith Adam? Oh we forgot your now with the 'devil's army'. You won't convince us otherwise with your horrible, rude accusations of President Trump. To embrace a party that believes in abortion and socialism is the ultimate sin"

They go on to say they had more to say but said he is not worth their time before proceeding to pile o more against him with half additional pages

They go on to say "You should be very proud that you have lost the respect of Lou Dobbs, Tucker Carlson, Sean Hannity, Laura Ingraham, Greg Kelly etc..and most importantly in our book, Mark Levin and Rush Limbaugh and us!"

They said they are now embarrassed to be related to him who said they are not judging him but that is their opinion and ended it with "Oh, by the way, good luck in your fund raising endeavors. We are sure (we know) there are many other good GOP and Chrisitian supporters that feel the same way we do"

It was signed by Karen Otto, his cousin, and her husband Greg and 9 other family members whose names were redacted..

The Ottos wrote in postscript who didn't want their name added claiming they didn't have the courage to tell him

They are now calling for his REMOVAL in office and stated Trump has done more for the American people in 4 years than he or the Democrats have and said he got LAZY PEOPLE off their asses to get jobs and now they can live comfortably in Joe Biden's socialist america.

Karen told the NYT she DID write that letter and sent it to Republicans in Illinois to get him shunned from office

Kinzinger, the 43 y/o Air National Guard Pilot appeared unbothered by his cousin and says he holds nothing against them but has zero desire to reach out and repair the relationship and said it is 100% on them..

He did express he was "sad" over the ltter responding to Gretchen Carlson woh said such family fall outs over politics are common now

And while Kinzginer has drawn praise from Democrats, he is by no means a progressive as he opposes the ACA, abortion and increased taxes and won his seat through the endorsement of Sarah Palin

For now he is seeking re-election but whether he can remain a Republican remains to be seen as many other Republicans are now being censured for calling on Trump's impeachment

We need to figure out what to do with traitors who want to disown people for respecting the fucking constitution.

I just dont like people who disown their family for stupid reasons like politics or being gay or trans. Youll never know when theyll be gone so treasure them! We only have three family members left that we know of, so Im kinda sensitive about stuff like this.

Trumpism kind of fucked my family as well. I have a bunch of aunts and uncles who won't talk to each other or my 95 year old grandma now because of it.

Also what's the deal with Trumpists/Republicans who don't fucking know what socialism is? It just seems to be their new boogeyman, along with BLM and Antifa. Biden, who is not by any stretch a socialist, is also more of a Christian than Trump ever was. These people seriously need to pull theirs heads out of their asses and taste reality for a change.

I agree. My family is pretty close, even when we dont agree on everything. Disowning them for reason like being gay and whatever sucks. Which is why Im glad my family is not like that. I personally dont care about politics, so I would hope that wouldnt destroy our family, either. Though, I dont see that happening anytime soon...

Oh good lord, look at what the board's resident authoritarian is pushing now! He's implying that the government should round up dissenters. This is literally happening right now. Horseshoe theory in action, except no, it's even worse than that because the guys on the other side haven't been implying that political critics need to be dealt with by the government.

You say that, but that was literally a tactic that the left was pushing to try to deal with Trump voting or support. And on the night of the election when my far-leftist cousin's wife was debating on fleeing the country so she "didn't have to explain that Trump got elected again" to her kids (who were only scared of Trump in the first place because she had been trash-talking him in the first place) removed countless family members from her friends list who she believed had supported Trump, and went on a screed about how she should have done it earlier like people suggested.

And for the record, I was the 10th no. The fact that it has any yeses when it was the SECOND completely unfounded, partisan-driven impeachment hearing from a party that wanted to impeach Trump before he took office speaks very ill of this board. The fact that the whole thing was a farce from the get-go is good reason why every senator who voted "yes" should be subject to a recall and the incident in general demonstrates why term limits are desperately needed in congress and the senate.
