100 Cat SHINEs to collect was way more than I was expecting going into this game. Each play set has 5 of them to collect plus random ones spread around the map that aren't connect to any of those areas. It was a nice taste of what they might have in mind for the next major mario game as this only took about 8 or 9 hours to get everything. Fury Bowser is on a 5 or 6 minute timer so sometimes there was a bit of a wait if you were waiting for him to activate to either fight him or get a Cat SHINE that required him to be active (mainly in the postgame), but it wasn't too bad. The big kaiju fights between him and Mario were rad so that made up for it. Also throwing in a true final boss fight after you got all 100 was a nice bonus.

Not to say you should skip out on playing 3D World if you haven't played it, but Bowser's Fury is a definite must play IMHO

Around how long? I'm tempted to buy it but I heard it's incredibly short. I mean, I expect it to be, but if it's only a handful of hours and I don't expect to revisit 3D world I might hold off

I just finished 100%ing it as well. Very fun game. Took around 10 hours, including just riding around on Plessie for fun for awhile. I hope they make a full game like this in the future.

I noticed if you go back in the game after seeing credits with 100 shines, the cat bell powerup now makes you look like the Giga form but in regular size. Didnt find anything else different about it.

Those lost kitten missions were the only part of the game I didnt like.

Bowser Jr. is also Meowser Jr. upon 100%!

I just completed this game, hence bumping an old topic. Man this is easily the most high effort enhanced port from Nintendo. Bowser's Fury probably took me about 10 hours to 100% too, so way more content than I expected. I'll probably replay it co-op sometime, so good.

Or maybe do a "hard mode" run where I don't use any recovery items. I did this for the second phase of the true final boss. Only took me two tries, but it was nerve wracking and epic.
