Okay, Im going to watch horror movies by Koji Shiraishi, starting with Noroi.

Hopefully I'll get some good use out of these viewings.

Did my presentation today. Me and another student.

It went pretty well. The guy before me was super complicated and spoke about evolution with Giraffes or something >_>

So much Kanji I didn't understand and I don't think a lot of others did either. My Babymetal presentation was pretty smooth!

Was trying to study but I realized I ran out of material. I need to buy the new book if I want to do further reading for my class. Instead I'll just study from other sources for now.

I've recently been seeing a lot of Japanese comments saying as opposed to . They're interchangeable right? Is one better to use than the other, or is it just whatever you feel like typing? Maybe I just never noticed it before but I've always seen until recently.

I see a lot more from Japanese natives to be honest. I guess its more widely used as a whole.

I was so busy today. Class was really fun though! I was able to grasp the subject pretty easily after jumping over a few hurdles at the beginning.

Just went over my homework and man, I'm kinda stumped with some of these words. Might ask sensei for some help on Saturday.

Before then I want to keep trying on my own, or I'll ask my girlfriend on Wednesday if I really have trouble.

I have an interview on Thursday so studies are on hold while I prepare for it.

So I just found out my sensei will be going back to Japan for a while. I'm not sure what we will be happening to our lessons. Either we will go back to online lessons or have a totally new sensei until she returns next year.

Just got home, really late. Got no studying in either ugh. Did a bit of Duolingo while I was out though.

Finished my last weeks homework since I was behind for missing some stuff. Was going to watch a drama but its almost 3:30am. Time for bed.

I've changed it up and started to use apps again. Usually do this when studying gets stale and need to stimulate my mind a bit.

I hate this stupid bird on Duolingo. It keeps popping up bothering me. I'll study when I'm ready ffs.

On a side note I'll probably watch another J-horror movie tonight

More or less yeah. But it mostly depends on your determination and how much you encompass yourself in the culture/language.

I literally surrounded myself. I watch dramas everyday, play Japanese videogames, I have a Japanese girlfriend and a few Japanese friends, go to a Japanese class every week ect..

I probably even know more Japanese Idols and actors than western ones now.

I dont think i could adapt reading squiggly lines like that.

The idea of learning new language terrifies me. All those weird letter...kinda wish english is the only language in the world so i dont have to deal with difficulties like this. But thays just my thought. No need to go mad at me.

No worries man, I'm not angry lol. I can understand it looks daunting but its actually pretty fun once you get into it. Or maybe find another language you may enjoy as well.

My wife is Japanese and runs an online Japanese teaching school with 4 teachers, so I am utilising that whenever I have the time!
