4 years ago back in 2017, i had a great job. i was making lots of money (at least to me) and doing something i loved. working with youth and working with tech. i got the job through a friend who said their school needed someone to do tech work and teach stem classes. im perfect for that! i got the job easy and it was great. i got to play with 3d printers and expensive equipment and be with youth that i had previously taught before when i worked at their old school.

but then management changed. and they decided they didn't like our department and the people who worked there.
the higher ups fired our director with no cause other than fuck you, and suspended anyone who dared ask why. 3 fucking supervisors just disappeared for 2 weeks and they told us "uh they all took vacations. i guess they were tired."
so yeah, they all quit. those that didn't quit where fired for made up reasons. they once fired our office manager saying she stole a 3d printer that was literally still in its box sitting in the office behind my desk.

then i knew their eyes where on me. they kept finding reasons to restrict what i could do. as the tech guy, i set up passwords on my computer. when they tried to get onto a computer, they were like "PASSWORDS? SECURITY? HES TRYING TO HIDE SOMETHING!" so i was banned from using anything but monitored PC equipment. eventually i spent most of my days hiding in our old office in the building so no one would bother me.

i quit, eventually, and was never able to get a good job like that again. i landed some basic enrichment programs with various school programs around the city, but they paid terribly, had little hours, and were always temporary. then covid hit and i was out of a job for nearly half a year.

right now i have a full time job, basically baby sitting kids for the district while they're in school but thatll go away once covids gone. then right back to the shit low paying part time temp jobs again.

finally this year i found a place that needed a person to do tech stuff with schools. i did their stupid prerecorded interview, and their panel interview and "homework" only to be told im not good enough. i was pissed and ready to give up. then i finally found this job for basically the same thing but closer to home. i applied, i suffered a 3 hour interview, and i fucking got it CE.

I FUCKING GOT IT
