Delivered: Breaking Bad

I waited to watch this until it was all done because people would not shut the fuck up about this show all day every day acting like every episode was the second coming of Jesus, and then I finally watched it and realized it WAS as good as everyone said.

Didnt Deliver: The Wire

This is one everyone worshipped that didnt take a whole lot of convincing to watch because everything about it was right up my alley, and when I watched it I realized that because its portrayal of law enforcement, the drug trade, school system and local politics is so realistic, it was so unbelievably boring and slow and monotonous and I often needed to rely on the little info blurbs for the episodes to remind myself what events actually took place. It was agony to power through the entire show, I dont even think I finished the last few episodes, or if I did I cant remember them at all.

anyway, didn't deliver - 11.22.63.

after hearing how good the book is, I had high expectations for the TV series, but unfortunately, it fell short, IMO.

delivered - Mr. Robot.

I watched it by chance, thinking that it would be a thriller about a hacker uncovering deep conspiracies, and it is, but it's a lot more than that.

it's easily one of the best series in recent memory.
