Hard C for me. Relying on people does nothing but give you disappointment. My motto is, Dont rely on anyone. Of course, you cant go through life without any kind of help so its more like rely on people as little as possible

Learn to stand on your own and never expect anything from others, sure. But be willing to accept help from those who care enough about you to offer it unprompted. Theres nuance to this shit. Im guilty af of rejecting any and all help regardless cuz Iunno, thats just how I am lmao, but others definitely shouldnt be this way.

Hell, Im actually iffy on that kind of too LOL, I lack the frame of reference to actually be the sort who could make a solid and fair judgment on this or not since Ive never actually attempted to live in any other way. >_>

I guess it is ok to rely on people but if I rely on someone and they either dont come through or do it half assed, I might as well just do it myself. If I do it half assed then its my own fault.

This is insanely incomplete. Could what you day be true? Sure. Is it either or? No. Unless you count coworkers as part of that circle. Family as well. I can rely on my friends that a true friends, the ones behind being an acquaintance. (Some people consider me their friend when Im more of an acquaintance than anything)

Speaking on family, I cant rely on most of my family and if isnt like I can cut them off because of that. So they will be in my circle.

Yes. It indeed is incomplete. I wasn't trying to write a book on the subject in my post >_>. Of course there is a lot of nuance. Which is why I got there with how much nuance you were also missing. It's how conversations work, you slowly elaborate. You're projecting that I think I just nailed the whole conversation first try >_>. Iunno, could just be how I come off too. I definitely don't think I know it all tho.

It also usually helps if you explain why you made the topic so people have context and can pinpoint why you are feeling the way you are. Much easier to get the nuances. You gotta realize that when you don't make it more personal, the overall vibe here kind of seeps in. I can't treat you as an individual if you give me no personal context.
