Currently on episode 2 right now, where Wanda saw the in-color toy helicopter. I'm a big fan of this concept in media where things aren't as they seem. I'm serious. Episode 1 was actually pretty funny at times but it weirded me out a couple of times: during the "commercial break" where the toaster started beeping like a bomb and the light was in-color, and when Vision's boss was choking.

Curious to see what it's doing.

This is a reference to her backstory. Her apartment building was shelled. One bomb killed her parents. She and her brother were trapped in the rubble for days, staring at a second bomb and waiting for it to detonate.

Also I think I get what this show's doing? It's jumping forward eras in sitcom TV. It's a spoof of 70s/80s sitcoms now.

Maybe in comparison to the rest of the show so far, but I loved the premise of the first two episodes.

Also, at the end of episode 4....excuse me, WHAT THE FUCK? Is this some alternate reality Wanda cooked up so she could be with Vision again? He looked dead at first.

I was worried the most of the show would be like the first two episodes so I was relieved when that wasn't the case personally. I'm fine with it now but tbh I'd probably be fine if that was just for the first episode and it moved on.

IMO, the episode where they explained everything going on outside the bubble came a bit too soon.

Guess Ill have to see where they go with the rest of it to know for sure though.

I think the next saga after the infinity saga is probably going to be centred around it. Dr Strange and Spider-Man are pretty much confirmed to dip into it.

Could be the best or worst thing to happen to the MCU I guess.

We don't know that's what she did, as an fyi. Right now it's just a theory. It could just be an Easter egg and meta on the whole recasting thing they do on sitcoms.

If not, it's an intentional tease because we know multiverse stuff is coming.

The other possibility is she just took a random civilian and forced him to play her brother.

They literally announced a movie called multiverse madness. And mysterio literally mentioned the multiverse by name a handful of times in Spiderman.

To add on, it was a Stark brand toaster, and it was Stark bomb that shelled her apartment and killed her parents.

All those commercials are supposed to be exploring some aspect of her past or her guilt. Like the Lagos papertowels to wipe up "accidents," since she accidentally killed those people in Lagos during Civil War.

The HYDRA watch was named after Strucker, as in the same Baron Von Strucker who more or less gave her her powers.

Yeah, but the actual item doesn't really parallel anything. The toaster beeped like a bomb, the paper towels were for when you "made a mess you didn't mean to"," and the HYDRA soap is probably a reference to them brainwashing her.

The HYDRA soap is also a direct, unarguable reference to Agents of SHIELD and I will hear no argument against this.

That's a little less horrifying than I imagined. Agnes's comment and background characters "not in focus" for the show just not moving or doing repetitive motions got me weirded out.

Based on Norm's reaction when Vision took off the spell, the people are aware that they're not in control and can't do a thing. That lady stuck in a loop with the tear solidifies it.

But that commercial definitely implies that reality can occur aka starvation or dehydration since they can't do anything but what Wanda wants.
