Enzc is really surprising me. I expected a decent mover with some home run potential. But today and Friday are almost unprecedented.

Right now their volume is low for what they did last week. Around 50m. I think a lot of people are holding. Maybe its all us lol. But that is a good sign. Hold on and the stock gets more valuable. We just need some news. I know bro said their website is coming which is big.

Even with the taxes that will get taken out if you sell for a profit, it's still more money you wouldn't have had otherwise.

If you don't sell then they don't take any taxes. Owning stocks isn't taxed on its own.

This is why you read articles like "JEFF BEZOS MADE 70 BILLION IN ONE YEAR BUT ONLY PAID 1 MILLION DOLLARS IN TAXES" because that "70 billion" is actually how much the value of his stock appreciated and he doesn't actually have that money.

It'd be a good way to open up a lot of play money but we'll probably be here this time next year and it'll be hitting double digits for the first time

i.e. everyones first $10,000 is taxed the same regardless of overall income

there is never a scenario where making more money and going to the next tax bracket will result in less net money in your account

I mentioned before ZOM is having a new product being released in March. Here's some details:

• Zomedica (ZOM) is a development-stage company that focuses on the unmet diagnostic and therapeutic treatment needs of clinical veterinarians.
• The companys first product - TRUFORMA - is an innovative diagnostic tool that is scheduled for commercial launch on March 31, 2021.
• The development of gastrointestinal diagnostic assays could introduce Zomedica as the first mover in a large addressable market.

Zom's been working on this thing for two years.

TRUFORMA is a diagnostic platform that uses disposable assay cartridges to provide rapid in-office testing of whole blood, serum, and plasma. The system uses Bulk Acoustic Wave (BAW) sensors, which allows for non-optical detection, and Zomedica states that the testing system can provide reference lab accuracy at the point of care. The TRUFORMA platform ties in to Zomedica's MyZomedica care platform.

I want to use these funds that clear to diversify my portfolio but if I'm also tempted to get some more ENZC.

Keeping a running list of what's been suggested here and going to get a few hundred to a few thousand of some of the penny/sub-penny stuff you guys are talking about.

Still undecided on if I should wash my hands of AMC for now. I know I said I knew it was a long term investment but also could use that money

Etrade has worked well for me. I thought I had read something about them stopping GME sales, but I never got any notice or had any trouble attempting to buy GME when it was going wild. I got in/out too late on that one, but... Etrade is nice, imo.

correct...if you are selling short-term gains. otherwise it is capital gains tax at 0/15/20% based on your income.

I went with TDAmeritrade on a whim.

Takes about a week for money to clear for stuff that isn't main stock market stocks, so basically anything not a brand name or that is a penny stock you won't be able to buy straight away (though that's generally seeming the case with every brokerage)
