At least they understand how weird it was in hindsight. As long as you can acknowledge your own cringe moment and move on from it, there shouldn't be any real harm done.

I'm not so sure they actually understand so much as trying to appease the hatemob by agreeing with them.

I think Korone's streams are still fairly easy to follow despite not being able to understand her. Yeah you won't be able to know what she's saying, but the weird noises and moments of glee or terror or whatever emotion obviously transcends language. Plus she easily has the most variety in terms of what games she plays. And many of those games are retro and very simple to follow for a viewer.

I do hope she does more English only streams because those were very fun.

Pekora and Korone are two fantastic ones to watch even if you don't understand a thing they say I've found from occasionally looking at their streams. Such fun and madness regardless of language barrier.

I still mostly only watch a clip or two as not really more time to watch more than the one EN girl I do though.

Yeah I only skimmed it but I think that's obvious. It's not like you equate a character in an anime to their voice actors, though some people will like a character just for their VAs. Since ultimately they play a character that is a mixture of their actual personality but has definitive quirks that the real life person would not have, even if you know the identity of the person, you'd never mistake the character for that person 1 to 1.

Yeah but you'd not look at her and think she's a mischievous rabbit. Like I said, the personality is the same, but there's an inherent difference when you just view the character. Pekora's actress also did very few collabs in general (she was, however, actually close to Miko's actress prior to either of them debuting, which is why in Holo, they instantly gelled together), and you'd never see her be in charge of some Minecraft construction company rivaling another major Minecraft construction company, for example. She'd be too shy outside of her character to do a major collab like that.

I'm just talking about those kinds of differences, like things that wouldn't ever happen with the real actress vs when they're in character

Well Ina beat the Mantis Lords and made a bit of progress in Hollow Knight. And she's streaming it two more times this week. Kind of easy to forget how hard Hollow Knight can potentially be for a more casual gamer.
