Sure it was cool for like a week to have it sync up to my music

But now I have a keyboard that weighs about 10x what a keyboard should, has a wire (a ridiculously thick one) and seems to allow keys to slip off as easily as a silk sock or something. And the action is way too high for any actual serious typing

And it was like $100

Same lol, and honestly it doesn't add to my experience at all. Membrane keyboard does the job same. It maybe makes difference in high speed, competitive setting especially RTS like starcraft, but for semi casual gaming, especially i mosltly play RPGs and slower games, it literally add 0 value.

I must say the clack it makes is satisfying. If the keys weren't so damn large and they didn't sit so high I'd quite enjoy it. But damn it's not a fun keyboard to use unless set up in a permanent position.

It's just distracting to me. Too damn loud and only tolerable if i use headphones.

Cherry Mx reds are specifically designed to be silent if youre typing correctly it shouldnt have a clacking sound.

Itll clack still if youre slamming them down all the way when you type/press them (its still plastic hitting plastic at that point) but if youre touch typing lightly then they wont make noise.

Might take some getting used to to develop the habit.
