wtf am i going to write about the destruction of krypton is an allegory of the rise and fall of global empires and entire civilizations.. ... also it closely mimics theories about what Happened to Mars, which was rumored to have life before earth did but not anymore ...Superman having powers here symbolizes the possibility of our own civilization being able to terraform another planet before our own earth goes the way of Mars and krypton. Anthropocentric stance. Krypton dying was objectively a good thing because it meant Superman coming to earth and saving humanity countless times.
