Holy shit, just saw the video, the woman was shot multiple times including what looks to be point blank and was still shouting. After the guy went back for his second gun and fatally shot her she was still trying to crawl away for about half a minute.

I think everyone that's seen the video can agree on the following points

• The victims absolutely bullied and berated him and if it hadn't had ended in a murder, we'd be talking about how they come across like meth head assholes
• They also did absolutely the dumbest thing imaginable, goading an angry man with a gun and not moving when he comes at them literally shooting
• All of this said, it's absolutely wild that this man killed them and then killed himself over this. It's likely that he had been fantasising about this for a long time and this was the straw that broke the camels back
• And of course, no one should have died

Yeah sounds like the people were going way out of their way to antagonize him considering they fucking were taking the snow across the street to dump it on his property.

Sounds like they continually did things to spite and harass him and he finally snapped.

They also initiated the violence by throwing a tool and approaching aggressively with fists raised. His response was extremely disproportionate and nobody should've died...but I just can't bring myself to feel sorry for an aggressor who did not have a good cause when things backfire so hard on them.

Definitely one for the 'Neighbors from Hell' category... It's a weird phenomenon, where toxic antagonistic attitudes lead to mortal danger between neighbors. The best option in cases like this, despite how unfair it seems to the bullied party, is to move away.

In other cases, where the bullies make good on their promise to make someone's life a living hell, it's ended with an angry neighborhood mob attempting to burn down the bullied party's house and getting shot for it(no charges were ever filed against bullied party because it was deemed self defense to shoot someone pouring gasoline into your kitchen through a window they broke with the intent to light the house on fire).

Holy fuck I just watched the video with audio. People re so fucking crazy right now, the woman was literally saying "GO AHEAD!" right before he shot her. And she got shot twice in the head and still wasn't dead wtf. Dude that instigated took off immediately and just left her to get shot, guy goes back inside and comes back with a rifle and shoots her two more times in the head then the guy again, fucking wild.

Shooting accurately with a handgun is actually pretty difficult (except for dinky 0.22 rounds). It's entirely possible he missed even if he was just 2ft away, if he wasn't a good shot (and it's pretty clear he's not a good shot).

You're gonna cop this from the firearms crowd any second now so I'll tell you in advance: an ar-15 is not an assault rifle. What you're looking at is a semi automatic rifle that has just been styled in a tacticool way, and is functionally no different than something that might have a more benign hunting rifle look to it. Point being, it's not a sub-machine gun or anything. You gotta press the trigger individually each time you want it to go bang.

No it wasn't out of sync. You can see he flinched with the first crack and you can hear the snow crunch in each footstep matches the movement.

I watched it without sound, I imagine the sound makes it much worse. Apparently the guys says something to both of them before the rifle executions.

I watched the video. They're verbally taunting the guy and making threatening statements and then he just steps out with a pistol and starts firing.

It's surreal, for the first four or five shots the two people in the street don't even budge.

Then the guy gets hit, and he screams and starts to run before collapsing out of frame in his driveway. Meanwhile the woman pulls out her phone and gets shot for her trouble, and the shooter fires twice more into her while she's on the ground. Then the shooter walks over the the shot man and shoots him again with his last round.

Then, while the woman continues to scream and yell the shooter walks back into his house and retrieves a rifle. He then walks back out, tells the woman "you should have kept your fucking mouth shut!", and executes her. Then he walks over to the man and says something like "weak f****t, huh?" (A slur the shot man said to him earlier in the altercation) before shooting him again. Then he returns to his house.

It looks like the threats and stuff that they were yelling at him finally made him snap.

It's sad. Two families destroyed over some fucking snow.

The sound is the chilling part, makes it much worse and clearer. You can hear her gargling in her own blood, and you can hear his death rattle as his lungs collapsed. It's some disturbing shit dude.

My ex is a doctor in criminology and criminal psychology so I sent the video over to her and we analyzed it second by second. Only thing that still brings us together is our fascination for the topic.

From the statements in the article, it sounds like this was less about the snow and more about this being the guy's breaking point. Neighbors said that these 3 had a "long-standing fued". So they've probably been fighting for quite a while before this.

Not that it makes all of this any better. Truly tragic that this led to 3 deaths.

Also, from the way it's described, he shot himself as the police were coming up to his door.

I too am continually amazed that some people think kicking and screaming worked at their parents' house just fine, but that not everyone has to take their crap out there in the real world, and that it's only a matter of time that they figure that out the hard way.

sometimes strangers get on my nerves, too, and I think of things I could have said to talk back to them, but then again, I always tell myself it's never worth it, you don't know if they'll just pull out a gun and start blasting like they do here...
