I do think [GameStop] is going to go to $1,000 [per share] or at least $700, maybe even higher, he told host Liz Clayman. Roncancio said the activity surrounding GameStop reminds him of last year's Tesla short squeeze, which he said dumbfounded investors. Teslas stock price currently sits at more than $839 per share. Its potentially way overvalued now and Im not putting any further money into it, but anyone now would be better off dropping their cash into Tesla than GME, if one were to want to choose between those 2 for whatever reason. I got it for a long term because besides cars theres some advancements in battery and solar with the world moving towards alternative energies. I bought Gamestop mostly on a whim after seeing it do a large increase and admittedly not doing the research I should have. I just happened to have money not in the market.
