I'll never be the person who clings to family no matter what. I'm willing to give people a chance, but just because you share the same blood as me doesn't mean I have to put up with you if you are a complete piece of shit for my entire life because "family."
If you want the family to work, then act like family. If you want to be an asshole and then say "but we're family" i'm sorry but that's not an excuse and i'm not going to continue to take it. Minor context, I haven't spoken to my mother in like 15 years. My wife is a very family driven person and her sister is a disaster and just a bad person.
