It's funny and I like it but Phill is just such a dislikable asshole it's kinda weird that he's the protaganist.

IT feels like if Rimmer was the main character of Red Dwarf. You kinda want him to fail.

Yeah Phil was horrible in the first season. The show was so cringe and not in a good way. I think it gets better later on as the cast grows. Phil becomes more lovable and Melissa improves... a little.

I swear they spent half the budget on the sets.

That parking lot full of corpses looked like it was from a movie and they used it for what? Like 3 scenes? Not even long ones.

DS9 was a ripoff of Bablyon 5 after the networked rejected the Initial pitch, then stole it and gave it to Star Trek

I feel like that was the point.

Also, I think one of the concessions for keeping it on the air was to make Tandy more likeable. You see his character change so much between 2-3 without having a real storyline reason for it. Personally, I wish it wasn't cancelled.

I feel like the turning point came when he finally learned to accept Carol for who she was and learned to love her quirks.

He definitely became better later on, which is good because I got tired of S1 Tandy real fast.

Looks like each character took their turn being a jerk throughout the show's run.
