CARRRNE_ASADA 01/28/21 8:35:01 PM #10:	Theres good voice acting, just bad direction here and there. Auron, Donna, Maechen are great. James Arnold does a good job as Tidus same as Dimaggio as Wakka. Don't ask me why I remember this (since it's been over 15 years since I played the game), but right after Kimahri picks a fight with Tidus, Yuna has an almost boisterous laugh and says 'sometimes we don't understand Kimahri either!' but then immediately reverts to the usual shy, stilted Yuna speech. I liked Yuna as a character overall, but it always stuck with me that I'd like her so much better if the VA had delivered all her lines the way she delivered that one particular line. Anyway, I agree that the handful of infamous missteps in X's voice acting overshadow the fact that it was mostly competent overall with occasional flashes of greatness, which was a pretty big accomplishment in an era not too far removed from the likes of Symphony of the Night and the original Resident Evil. --- Simple questions deserve long-winded answers that no one will bother to read. <cite>masterpug53 posted [p:950035108] in Was FFX th...
