I like how it makes Delita less of a jerk, ties in the whole Ivalice story (with a certain FF12 lady around), and makes me wish they would do this more often. Have a nice long quest line take place with major characters from another FF game.

Never played 14, but I liked seeing them make algus/argath a raid boss.

It's an alternative ending. The canon ending was elaborated on in Lord of Vermilion 3.
