Ah, I think the two I mentioned are the only games I've played from your list but they are pretty great. I guess you can count Dragon Warrior I and II since you mention the franchise. I did play a Monster Rancher game once for like an hour, dunno which one though. That's all I got.

Monster Rancher 1, 2, and 4 were all fantastic - but I don't think that same feeling could ever be captured again playing them now, since people don't own nearly as many physical cds anymore. I put 4 because I feel like 2 receives the most praise, and I don't think most people liked the changes made in 4 -- considering most of its big changes were reverted right back to feeling more like 2 immediately afterwards with the DS games. ...
