Wtf has money even turned into. It was first a way to represent how much work a porkchop was, pants, a pint of ale, etc. So that everyone wouldn't have to barter individual items and lets people trade freely. Now it's this whole fucking thing that dominates everything and money makes itself more money and you can give money to better get money off your money. But if your little more money makes a little more money, that's good cause everyone else's little less money makes a little less money.

I came back from the dentist and my bill before insurance was $750. 750 fucking dollars for someone to floss my teeth. I could get a round trip ticket to CA and go to a music festival and lodging and everything for that price. I floss every day for free. Big pharma makes fentanyl, one of the most potent drugs, gets into legal troubles and now those same companies make the antidote too and sell them? Wtf.

I do community work with special ed and I'm doing it because I like social work and it feels like I'm getting money doing something I like and making a little difference. But I'm doing this to survive. People make shit tons of money and don't need all of it to survive or even most of it. They just like collecting money and are good at it. And what do they do with money? Just use it to get more money. At our losses. The wealth disparity is so crazy. I'm sure if I had every single need met, every single want met, I'd get bored and do wacky shit. I'd love that. I'd drop my job in an instant if I got a shit ton of money and just take random classes and study things I like and try out a bunch of different shit until I get bored and die. Getting money after you have enough money to do everything you want seems like BS especially because it's at other's loss too. I don't blame people necessarily for not being philanthropists but I feel like there's a certain point where greed is greed.

Imagine blackjack but on top of being good at counting cards, blackjack pays out more to specifically you, plus you only lose 50% of your bet, and the better you play the more tilted the risk/reward gets, AND you collect 10% of everyone else's bet. Just a money machine. Wtf

750 was gross bill before any insurance happened, so I didn't pay it yet. I had a general cleaning and a few xray pics. The bill lays them out specifically and each x ray is like $150, and of course they have to take multiple. I even had to pay a "Covid 19 PPE" charge of $10. What in the FUCK is that?
