I tried playing this on PS3, years ago. Got told the typical responses... PC version is best, you know the drill

Using the Blizzard app more for Overwatch. Would be interested in trying. Base game or with DLC?

Eh it is fun for a playthrough but it doesn't hold a candle to Grim Dawn or Path of Exile. The one thing it does better than either is building the lore and quest design, but Grim Dawn is still strong in this department.

Yes its great. Also Diablo 3 has a very good console port, so those people telling you otherwise are prob just trying to flex their PCs

Why would it not be? I loved diablo 3. And i beat it on consoles. There's barely a difference between PC and console versions. I loved the story and combat. The story was way cool. The combat had all that loot and stuff. Diablo has always been the king of this genre. Other games may have been nice but they are just copying diablo.

Eh.

I found the complexity and combinations and features of PoE to be more compelling, and Grim Dawn is on par with Diablo 3 for everything else.

I liked them all tbh. D3 when you get used to it is like easy mode. Grim Dawn is normal and PoE is hard.

Its fun for a good bit. Fast paced with blizzard production value. Just dont go into it expecting much depth to character building though.

D3's combat feels the most satisfying to me. I haven't played GD to completion yet, but in PoE early maps I just didn't feel as satisfied with the combat as I do with D3. It's less complex but for people like me what does that matter? I'll probably just pick a build on a forum and follow it for any of the games, at which point stuff like build diversity wouldn't matter anymore

I remember playing Path of Exile in its early years. But now whenever I start it up I get overwhelmed by how much has been added & changed. I usually dont play on for much.

Diablo 3 however is always nice & simple to dive back into.

the gameplay is fun but the endgame got boring quick for me

might be more fun if you don't play solo though
