I only ask because a friend I knew from HS claimed that her father in law died 12 hours later after getting the vaccine in his left arm. He didnt go to the hospital because the nurses said the pain was normal (turned out to a heart attack)

Anyone else hear anything about people dying after getting either vaccine?

mRNA vaccines may cause some bizarre cancer 40 years from now, but probably not.
It's a clever hack of cellular metabolism, and is likely completely harmless in the long term.

I had the first shot Thursday and had no side effects except a mildly sore arm

It's fine

Pretty safe. Some of my co-workers and residents have had mild side effects like fever, muscle ache, injection site soreness; but most of them are fine and asymptomatic.

its a chance that cant be discounted.

there is no long term data on mRNA vaccine side effects. We wont know until decades from now

I'm leaning towards "probably not".
These mRNA hacks make weird dangly bits appear on the cell membranes. The long-term side effects are more likely an autoimmune disorder anyway,

No side effects matter because, as a reminder, the vaccine companies CANNOT BE LEGALLY HELD ACCOUNTABLE.

Some bizarre cancer or weird autoimmune thing are vastly more likely to be caused by everything else anyway.

Let me get that straight. You're saying the long-term side effects are more likely to be an AUTOIMMUNE DISORDER?

Yes, but either cancer or autoimmune disease directly related to a mRNA vaccine are statistically nothing, compared to anything else.

Staring at LCD screen is vastly more dangerous than a mRNA vaccine, due to indium beta decay.

There's no evidence of this actually being a thing. It's just a possibility of messing with cellular membrane receptors.

Likely nothing, but maybe.

Studies that state the numbers you reference please.

A single study siting both their references is adequate.

You're more likely to be killed by Mike Tyson personally punching you in the gut and rupturing your spleen, than you are to be killed by the covid vaccine.
The former would be way more awesome anyway.

I got my first dose and didnt feel anything worse than the sore arm.

I dont really see how the vaccine tricking your cells to make one foreign protein can be any worse for your long term health vs getting a viral infection that tricks your cells into making proteins to build entire virus particles and then explodes your cells to release the virus and attack more cells in an uncontrolled fashion.
